The people of Ndoki, leaders in Abia and the indigenes of Akirika-Obu Ndoki ancient Kingdom in the state of Abia, on Friday, laid to rest an iconic monarch, HRH Eze Michael Thompson Nna Nwambara (Eze Di Oha Mma 1 of Umuigube Achara North Autonomous Community).
Eze Michael, who died at age 66 after a brief illness, was buried in his community, Akirika-Obu Ndoki in Ukwa-East L.G.A, Abia state.
Before the funeral, his body was received at Ukwa-East L.G.A building in Akwete by monarchs and other leaders who expressed the pains of the death Eze Michael, whom they described as a “great leader and warrior.”
Meanwhile, a member of the royal family, Maxwell Chuks , who also shared photos of the funeral on Facebook, wrote:
“Yesterday, the 6th day of December 2019 we laid to rest a great monarch, my uncle, H.R.H Eze Michael Thompson Nna Nwambara (Eze Di Oha Mma 1 of Umuigube Achara North Autonomous Community).
“We the family, fellow indigenes of Akirika-Obu Ndoki ancient kingdom in Abia State and the entire people of Ndoki land mourn him.
“°°° Dad, rest in peace..”
